It has come to our attention that counterfeit ELATECH® belts are being offered for sale at different locations around the world. A Chinese company is even advertising on the web and promoting their belts under the ELATECH® brand name and logo, using website names resembling that of ELATECH® . This is illegal and an infringement of the patent protection and global trademark registration. The belts are distributed showing the ELATECH® brand and are reproductions of the ELATECH® product range. Counterfeit ELATECH® belts have been clearly identified as of much inferior quality and ELATECH® has begun legal action against involved parties whenever they could be identified.

While imitation is the strongest form of flattery, this situation is clearly a serious matter and we wish to encourage all of our customers to carefully check the origins of the ELATECH® products they purchase. Our research shows these counterfeit products are made from inferior materials and offer poor geometry and design. The performance of these non-original belts is also far from the original ELATECH® product, and in many cases the belts do not even match the pulleys.

We invite you to only purchase ELATECH® belts from authorized distributors and inquire directly with ELATECH® Srl in Italy (info@elatech.com) about our authorized distributors if you have any doubts.
